Training & Methodology

Agora Election Observation applies a methodology inspired by international election observation missions of the OSCE/ODIHR and the European Union.

Additionally, Agora Election Observation youth-focused approach is grounded in informal education and learning-by-doing principles, offering young people a first-hand experience of professional election observation.

Before deployment, participants carry out research on youth participation, the political context, and the electoral system of the host country—laying the groundwork for both knowledge-building and peer exchange.

During the mission, observers meet institutional stakeholders to discuss youth engagement in the electoral process and visit key democratic institutions such as parliaments and election commissions.

Agora Election Observation also organises targeted training courses, including practical simulations of election day tasks, to prepare for real-world observation work.
